The Society of Young Nigerian Writers (SYNW) has congratulated Dr. John Asien on his reappointment as the Director-General of the Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC).
According to the press release issued by the President of the Society of Young Nigerian Writers (SYNW), Wole Adedoyin in Ekiti on Friday said Dr. Asein’s reappointment is a testament to his dedicated service and commitment to the promotion of Copyrights and Nigerian literature.
Parts of the statement read “Under Dr. Asein’s leadership, the NCC has made significant strides in protecting the rights of Nigerian writers and other creators. He has worked tirelessly to educate the public about copyright laws and to enforce them effectively, helping to ensure that Nigerian authors are properly compensated for their work.”
“Dr. Asein has also been a strong advocate for the development of the Nigerian literary industry, and has worked to promote and support young Nigerian writers.
