YEMI ALADE (FEMALE ARTISTE)

The Nigerian music industry over the years has produced great female vocalists, songwriters and music producers among them is Yemi Eberechi Alade popularly known as Yemi Alade born on 13th March, 1989 in Abia State, Nigeria.

Yemi Alade first became popular when she won the Peak Talent Show in 2009.
She followed this up with a hit track in her song ‘Johnny’ 2013 which produced a sensational appeal to many of her fans and music lovers. This marked her introduction as a great dancer and singer.

Notable musical works to her credit are “Fimisile 2009” “Ghen ghen love 2013” “Tangerine 2014” “Taking me over 2015” “Temperature 2015” “Durotimi 2015” “Nagode” 2015 “Do as I do 2015” “Ferrari 2016” “Kom Kom 2016” “Africa 2016” “Tumbum 2016” “Knack am 2017” and “Single and searching 2017″ and so on.

Yemi Alade’s performance style is majorly pop and R n B with a unique use of African percussion instruments.

She has many awards to her credit such as MTV Africa Best Female Award 2015 and 2016 .Yemi has received many award nominations some of them include: City People Entertainment Awards as female musician of the year 2014, BET Awards as Best International Act in Africa-2015.

Yemi Alade is also a philanthropist who has donated to many charity causes.She donated proceeds from her album”Mama Africa” to the Feed a Child Charity Initiative.
Yemi Alade is one of the most creative young talent in the Nigerian music scene.
