The Creators Amaechi Muonagor

Amaechi Muonagor was a Nigerian actor and producer who was born in the year 1962. He hailed from Idemili North LG of Anambra State.

He started working with News Agency of Nigeria(NAN)in 1989 after his youth service but later left to pursue a career in acting. His first appearance in a Nigerian home video was in the movie Taboo 1 in the role “Akunatakasi”(1989).

Amaechi Muonagor during his lifetime appeared in some of these movies:
Living in Bondage (1992); Igodo(1999); Karishika(1998); The Last Burial (2000); Ukwa(2001); Issakaba(2001); Aki na Ukwa (2002); 2 Rats(2003); Aki and PawPaw(2021) among many other great movies.

He was nominated for the award of Best Actor in a Comedy in the 2017 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
Amaechi Muonagor was indeed a great character actor known for his remarkable performances in depicting characters in movies. His portrayal of comedic characters was always a delight to watch.

This acting legend who had gone through protracted illness died on the 24th of March 2024 at the age of 61.
