FOLLOWING his recent posting to the NCC Port- Harcourt Office, Director, NCC Port Harcourt Office, Mr. Babatunde Salami embarked on a series of courtesy and familiarisation visits to critical stakeholders in Rivers State, August 6, 2024.
The Director, accompanied by the Deputy Director Assistant Director, NCC Port-Harcourt Office, Mrs. Nkechi Ezimma and Mr. Joseph Ojika visited the Comptroller Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), Onne Command in Rivers State, Mr. Mohammed Babandede.
Speaking during the visit, Mr. Salami, emphasised the importance of strengthening the existing relationship between the two agencies, particularly their joint efforts to combat piracy in the state.
He reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to collaborative efforts with sister agencies and stakeholders aimed at protecting intellectual property rights within the state and environs.
Comptroller Babandede expressed his gratitude for the visit and pledged the continued collaboration of his Command with the NCC in it’s efforts to curb copyright piracy in the state.
