PROFILE OF MR. BITRUS A DAUDA

DIRECTOR, PLANNING, RESEARCH AND STATISTICS, NIGERIAN COPYRIGHT COMMISSION

 Mr. Bitrus Dauda is the Director, Planning Research and Statistics (PRS) Department of Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC). Born on Monday, 5th February 1962 at Toro, Toro Local Government of Bauchi State, Nigeria, he obtained Bachelor of Arts Degree in History (BA History) from University of Maiduguri (1986) and Master of Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) from Bayero University, Kano (2005). Following his National Youth Service, he joined the Bauchi State Government Service, Ministry of Information and Culture from 1987 to 1997. Mr. Dauda was employed in the Commission in December 1997 as an Assistant Chief Copyright Officer and eventually rose to the status of a Director from January 2013 to date. His marriage to Mrs Grace Bitrus Dauda is blessed with two children, Barrister Rahila and Engineer Suleiman Dauda.
