Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon is an afropop music artist and songwriter who was born on 6th December 1993 in Lagos State, Nigeria.

Reekado Banks as he is popularly known first came into limelight in 2008.He signed with Mavin Records in 2014 and left the label in 2018. His debut studio album “Spotlight” was released on 1 September 2016.

Reekado Banks has won a number of awards in his stellar career among them are two Headies Awards victories as:
i. Rookie of the Year Award 2014 and
ii. Next Rated Artiste Award 2015.

The music superstar has also created an international impact with his debut album “Spotlight” which placed number 10 on the Billboard World Albums Chart.

He has given credit to his elder brother who produced all of his earlier songs and tutored him on the rudiments of singing, writing and producing . Reekado Banks in an interview with the National Mirror also said his brother was instrumental to his emergence when he submitted his songs and communicated with the label on his behalf without his initial consent.
