FUNCTIONS OF THE INTERNAL AUDIT UNIT
NIGERIAN COPYRIGHT COMMISSION
The Internal Audit Unit of Nigerian Copyright Commission is responsible to the Director-General in carrying out a comprehensive audit of all the operations and activities of the Commission to ensure compliance with the Public Service Rules (PSR), Financial Regulations (FR), Extant Rules and Treasury Circulars.
In addition to carrying out financial audits, the Unit has charge for management audit of the functions of the Commission to monitor their efficiency and the effectiveness of internal control mechanism. As a tool for managerial control, the Unit is responsible for review of the operations of all Departments and State Offices and reporting to Management on the level of compliance with best practices.
